Miners is a new brand to me, I had only ever seen it in the odd Superdrug store but nothing really jumped out at me. That was until I saw some snaps of these beauties...
Their new launch of on trend and celebrity inspired matte lipsticks. Although the range only has 4 shades you won't be disappointed by them. I'm only focusing on 3 in this post as I will talk about the nude shade - Barely Buff in a separate post.
One of the first things that caught my eye with these was the colour indicator on the lid of the lipstick, it is pretty spot on to matching the actual lipstick itself. Which is fantastic as I often get frustrated when browsing lipsticks, seeing a colour I like only to whip the lid off and it is a totally different shade that what the label may have you believe. So I am very impressed with the time Miners have put into that aspect.
The three shades here are (starting at top left), Starlet, Coral and Vixen. I am loving Vixen in particular it is the prettiest vampy red, a lot darker than the usual red lipsticks I would go for but works a treat on my lips.
Starlet -
Inspired by Cheryl Cole's girly and fun, yet sophisticated look Starlet was created. A vibrant and bold pink that leaves lips looking and feeling moisturised (very true). Perfect for that sophisticated lady with a fun and bubbly edge.
Coral -
A fresh, fun shade that adds a touch of glamour to that sexy, beach babe look. As seen on the likes of Pixie Lott and Agyness Deyn, Coral shades create a sexy, yet understated pout.
Vixen - The vamp of the family. Inspired by the likes of Kelly Osbourne and Rihanna, a great shade for uber confident for every girl. Perfect for creating a super sexy and bold, statement smile.
My pick of the bunch is definitely Vixen, but all 3 look great on and are a firm favourite among my friends on nights out each of us wearing a different colour, and looking great with them. I found them surprisingly moisturising for a matte lipstick, and they stayed a good amount of time on my lips too.

Thank youuu
