Yves Saint Laurent Rouge Pur Couture Vernis a Levres, glossy stains, are another new launch from the cosmetic brand and have taken the beauty world by storm. They are so different to the other lip stains that we had been used to, the glossy formula deepens and develops on your lips without needing an added balm like traditional stains. The colour that you apply takes a few seconds to change, so give it time to settle down and if you do fancy picking a shade up then do your research. These are brilliant whether you want a sheer wash of colour with one swipe, or want an opaque lip the formula allows you to build the product to get your desired finish. Like I said unlike traditional lip stains this wont completely dry your lips out, it does feel a little tight but 1/10th compared to others. As the name suggestions this has a glossy finish, I think they have created a great product, a mix between a stain, gloss and lipstick. I have picked up a few shades but I thought I would share my top 3, 12 Corail Fauve a gorgeous vibrant coral that brightens my face and has been a staple for me since I got it, 15 Rose Vinyl a very wearable pink, I like that you can build this to quite a pop of pink and 17 Encre Rose the palest of the trio but still suitable for everyday wear, I really like the lilac undertones to this.

The glossy stains are definitely one of my favourite beauty launches this year, I have a couple of the red shades on my wish list. Give them a go at your local counter for yourself and I'm certain you will fall in love with them too.
