Aussie Entry

I didnt seem to get a tin from aussie with the card in detailing the compitition so until a couple of days ago i was unaware.. but i emailed the lovely lauren and she said they had decided to give an extra 48 hrs so that i could give it a go which i thought was so kind..

Now for my look i was inspired by the purple from the aussie logo.. i didnt go over the top with this as i like to create looks that i would actually wear or that could be worn.. not that i dont love seeing/doing very creative looks.. i just feel sometimes a winning look should be something that everygirl could wear :)

The Louboutin Manicure

I was just reading Alexandra's Blog and she had posted a picture of the Louboutin manicure, I love dark nails so this is perfect..

and although she doesnt like it, ( go read her post here ) , i think its fab very gothic and vampy, perfect for the cold winter season.. might have to give it a try once my nails grow a bit more.

Product of the Week

Something ive been using alot over the past week or so is the Xen-Tan Face Tanner Luxe, cant get enough of it, i use it daily as ive found it also comes of with all the cleansing toner scrub that i do, but i dont mind as you only need a tiny blob. I apply it with a cotton wool pad because its tinted it does stain your fingers (i found this out the bad way). But it gives a lovely golden tan to the face and neck, & it doesnt smell terrible!

A+

RRP: £18.95

Where to buy? : www.xen-tan.co.uk/products or many shops just have a look near you

Skincare update

For the past couple of months ive been using the Garnier Pure active skin care routine, and ive loved it! My skin has got rid off all my problems (except the jaw grr) and i couldnt be happier the products havent worked fab for me. I just wanted to post a little something to let you know.

Before i had major issues with oily skin and breakout, as well as bumpy surface, this has totally changed i would now class my skin as normal with the odd breakout. I cant believe a drugstore range has given such great results. I was using the wash, toner, scrub and moisturiser.. as well as the roller ball treatment gel when needed. I did my routine twice a day, i used a makeup remover too i should add.

Currently i have a bit of a backlog of skin care products to try, im going to be giving The Body Shop seaweed skin care routine a twirl next see how that goes, but at least ive found a range other than clinique that works for my skin :) Im really pleased as its cheap too !! I definately want to have a look at other skin care lines from Garnier and see what i think of those too.

Have you used the Garnier Pure Active range? What did you think.. let me know in a comment :)
