Clean and Clear

Spots? Horrible right?! I have really bad acne on my jaw and sometimes it spreads to my chin ive had it for the year and nothing (and i mean NOTHING) seems to make it budge, so when i heard about this new spot control kit from clean and clear i knew i had to try it.

They have just launched this in the UK in the past week, i can see this moving quickly, as the results that 100% of people who tried it saw some kind of improvement is fabulous! ! !

taken from clean and clear

"This is a new solution for girls with spots. A clinical study found that 100% of trialists reported improvements in just one day*. The current campaign is aimed at educating girls about this new and amazingly effective 3-step routine from Clean & Clear Kit!"

I cant to go and get my hand on this and fingers crossed it clears them up! I will of course keep you informed of my finds and whether i think it works :)

nail test..

So about 9 days ago i splurged what little money i had and got my nails done, this time using gel, something i had never tried before, the girl assured me they were ust as strong and would be healthier for my own nails.

Hearing healthier for my nails and i was sold, however after spending over an hour and £40 i did not expect 4 to fall off within 3 days & a further 2 on day 5! I was not happy and i had to then go pay extra to have them removed. I phoned to complain and they basically said i was lieing and i had been using them too much ( i had not, they peeled off and the base which i was told was a salon problem not me :@).

So, i got thinking i spend sooo much on my nails and always seem to be sad at how short they still are once they extensions come off so this time (and im going to stick to it) im going to use some products that have been sitting in my box waiting for the day i decide to properly grow my nails without extensions.. :)

Heres what ill be using:
They are by the brand Barielle, all 3 are aimed to moisture and improve the condition of your nails, aswell as growth. I shall be giving these a go and ill update you in a few weeks time.

To give you an idea of what my shameful nails look like now here you are:

Hair Extensions Review

A couple of months ago i was sent some hair extensions by www.sultryhair.com , and being me with a love of extensions i was really excited to try some.

I choose their 22in straight clip in human hair, in a mousey brown colour. At first i was really torn with doing a review because of the price it is alot of money to spend in one go, but them i thought im probs already spending this on buying cheaper hair extensions more often.

These are the best hair extensions ive tried the blend into my own hair was amazing, for once people commented on 'my' long hair rather than asking if i had extensions in so thats a winner for me straight away!! :) They stay in good condition too, becuase they are human hair naturally they will become damaged however unlike other extensions ive tried these seem to stay 'healthier' for much longer.

I did my styling and care as normal, whenever i washed my hair i washed the extensions too, dried and styled them the same way. I use moisturising products on the hair extensions as they can become dry with daily wear.

Alwayssss use heat protection on them too, i learned that the wrong way one day when i forgot and it damaged part ssooo badly.

Ive included some photos over the past 2 months that ive had them, and how theyve looked. Unfortunatley as im now blonde i cant use them so im on the hunt for new extensions, so does anyone have any reccommendations ? :) leave a comment below...

Shipping was really quick, its a US company and i live in the UK and received them within a week safely.

I defo reccommend this company and the extensions, the best ive tried to date.

RRP $159.95

Lashes in a bottle!

Debs sent me something else in the post which ive been loving alot. Its called Lash Extender (Lashes in a bottle) and it does exactly what it says on the tin :)

Basically its lots of little fibres in a tube, and you apply them after a coat of mascara and then seal them in with another coat, the result is thick volume filled lashes. Now this can clump so you need to take your time with it, i prefer this for nights out as it can give a very full on look for day time. This is what the fibres look like, they are so tiny.

I havent noticed any fall out from them either which was my first thought when i opened this, i could just picture it by 5pm and i have major panda eyes but thats not the case.

There is a down side to this though, taking it off a couple of times i have had some issues as my eyes became a little irritated by the fibres but i think the more you apply the more likely this will be.

You can buy it at www.idealbeautyproducts.com

RRP £24.00
False eyelash effect. 100%

Xen Taaaan :)

I have found a new love, a lovely Debs :) from CALTHROP PR sent me some Xen Tan products to try. Now up until now ive been purely a St Tropez, Garnier or Clinique tan girl, i know them, they work, i love them. But i read the press releases and they sounded really good.

Kindly i was sent 3 to try, the Deep Bronze Luxe Once a Week Self-Tan, Face Tanner Luxe and Mousse Intense.

When i saw these i was a bit sceptical as i tend not to get on well with lotions, my main issue is i can never see where i have applied some and where i havent, so i end up with 'white' patches. Not very attractive. However the Deep Bronze Luxe Once a Week Self-Tan, which is a lotion is tinted a grey-ish colour scarey at first but blends away to a tint. This i like. Ive found ive been using this mainly on my arms, chest and neck.

The Face Tanner Luxe gives a really nice bronze tan, but again tinted so you get an instant boost of colour but then it deepens as the day (or night) goes on.

Now ill be honest im yet to really test the mouse, ive tried it once on my legs, because ive been using the other two and loving them ive kinda pushed this to one side so a review for the mousse will follow in a week or so.

A big thing for me is the time it takes to develop, 3 hours and you get a sunkissed tan, obviously leave it on longer and it darker. But i like the idea of on the day of a big night out slapping this on a few hours before let it develope then shower off and get ready with a beautiful tan.

They have got improved formula's, more intense levels of DHA so we get a deeper tan, but they also have used an ingrediant Lexorez which evens out the distribution of the DHA so there is less chance of streaks or patches. Which i think is great especially in the lotion products.

Scent? i hear you ask.. They have got a vanilla scent, and although you dont get a strong fake tan scent if you sniffff and sniff you will smell it. Now this will be different on everyone, personally for me i didnt get a strong fake tan scent i hope this can be said for alot of people.

They also have shea butter and Vitamin E, so really nourish the skin too. This again helps fight against the uneven fading and patching.

Retail, i think the price range is £15-25. Xen-Tan is available from Selfridges and House of Fraser Stores or www.xen-tan.co.uk

Let me know if youve tried any of these, or let me know your XenTan reccommendations :)

xoxo
