Some photos of my life this week

So I have stupidly lost/misplaced my camera charger so I have snapping away with my Blackberry Playbook, but the quality isn't as good but I love using instagram on the photos. So this is pretty much my week nothing exciting, the weather has been fabulous the past couple of days but can't seem to get those to load so you're missing out my yummy ice cream pictures haha. *Given some lovely red roses*A fabulous Clinique parcel arriving, definitely cheered me up!*My current read - The Green Beauty Bible*More gorge flowers*Made a makeup & facial appointment with SpaceNK a week before my birthday*Ebay lots & lots of my heels and handbags*Products that arrived on Friday*Amazing USB stick from Benefit thanks girls*Bought myself some more flowers, love white roses*Blue false nails from Elegant Touch*Posey photo with my wavy hair & with my candy dip dye extensions*

I will try to get a couple of posts in the next few days, as long as you can cope with playbook photos until I get my new charger in 3-4 days! Although I do have a couple of videos I recorded today because it was so sunny, I used my flipcam for like the 3rd time since I got it a year (sorry mum&dad!) so it'll be good to see what the quality is like. Health wise it's all a bit up in the air, however I have addressed that in a vlog so you will get filled in, I've been blogging a bit on my playbook - but not sure whether to upload it.

Trend Nails with Nails Inc

3 fabulous launches for summer from Nails Inc, I've been playing with these for a couple of months now and have to admit they are pretty bright. Perfect if you like to use your nails as another accessory, for adding that pop of colour to really compliment an outfit. Nails Inc are rapidly becoming my favorite nail brand, they have an amazing colour selection and they are continuously one step ahead in launching new collections, as well as formulations. Plus the quality is great, one to two coats for a glossy opaque colour that will last 5,6,7 days no trouble - even if you have busy fingers. My pick of the three has to be Baker Street simply for the rich blue that really does get up in your face, I love it. I like that Nails Inc have worked to created colours to match catwalk trends, I love the brand sell it so you can really have a colour for every outfit and your every mood - they really mean it

Illamasqua Stance Nail Polish

Another gorgeous nail colour to share with you today, I will update this when I am home to show you it on my nails, but I wanted to get this up because I am simply loving this colour. Stance was launched as part of the Human Fundamentalism collection, it is a beautiful vibrant bright fuchsia violet, something that is taking me out of my comfort zone - in a good way. It isn't my typical shade of milky pink or peach, however as we move towards summer I am embracing brighter nail shades and this has been my favorite for over a week now. Having stayed chip free (on false nails) for over a week, with a glossy finish it has impressed me. I have had so many compliments about it too, everyone seems to be loving this colour, even a girl at the doctors asked me what brand it was. I'm new to Illamasqua's nail polishes, but if all the colours stay perfect as this has done then I think OPI might have a contender here.

Dermalogica Precleanse

Dermalogica is a brand that I have been aware of for many years, through my early teens their facials kept my skin clear and glowing but it has been years since I took a look at the brand. I was given a chance to try some products from the brand, which came just as my skin was breaking out again, I knew I could trust the products to restore my skin. Formulated for all skin types precleanse melts away any makeup, even the most stubborn waterproof mascara and after I cleanse as usual my skin feels amazing. It leaves my skin very soft to touch, doesn't strip my skin and infact my skin doesn't feel like it needs a moisturiser (though I do use one) afterwards. The formula is gentle yet highly effective, I have read warnings that for the first week you may have some breakouts but this wasn't an issue for me thankfully.

Dermalogica says "A lightweight Olive and Apricot Kernel-based cleansing oil, fortified with Kukui Nut, Borage Seed and Rice Bran oils, that gently liquefies sebum and oil-based debris from the skin’s surface. The hydrophilic (water-loving) formula enables PreCleanse and oil-based debris to be readily rinsed away without leaving behind any greasy residue."

I do follow with a cleaning wash, as I like to 'double cleanse' in order for my skin to be squeaky clean and will show you the perfect partner for this in my next cleanser series post. Dermalogica has formulated this with no perfume or added colours, having got my mother to try this even her sensitive skin had no problem with this. For those reading this thinking 'but my skin is oily, can I really use this?' I have to say yes yes yes, my skin is normal-oily and I have used oil based cleansers for years, they provide a deep cleanse and a hydrating feel, all without any sort of greasy residue being left behind. Whether it's an oil or a balm, whether your skin is more dry or oily, I suggest you give this a try (my local salon has informed me that Dermalogica salons can provide samples to try before you commit to a full bottle) you might be surprised at how much your skin likes it.

YSL La Laque Couture

When I read about the new YSL La Laque Couture nail polishes, I got rather excited the promotional images looked gorgeous, the vibrant colours really caught my eye. The new line up has 30 shades, including a base & top coat,  so when these two colours landed on my desk I whipped my nail polish off and put on #11 Rose Futuriste. Both colours are welcomed additions to my collection, I don't own anything similar. For the last few days I have been wearing #13 Parme Graffiti on my toes, #11 Rose Futuriste and I'm happy to report that there is no signs on chipping on day 4 (this is without a topcoat). If you want to have a look at the other colour you can click over to the YSL Beauty site, here. As I would expect from them the formula and application is brilliant, they dry fast, opaque and have a lovely gloss. Plus who doesn't love the gold packaging?

The three other colours that I have got on my wish list are, #5 Corail Divin, #10 Fuchsia neo-Classic and #22 Beige Leger. It's my 21st in a month so these will be on my wish list! Let me know if you have tried the new La Laque colours and what do you think?

Priced at £18.00, you can buy them online here or from any YSL counter.

Elemis Aching Muscle Super Soak

Recently due to my health I have been suffering from terrible lower back pains, my kidneys are making my life hell and I have been trying a few different products all aimed to help relax muscles. My favorite so far has to be the Elemis Aching Muscle Super Soak, this has made my bath times a blissful 30 minutes, after a week of using I could feel my muscles melting away. Whilst the water is running I add between 4-5 caps, it does suggest 3 but I was eager for it to work and thought what harm can a couple extra shots do (I think it works better with an extra couple than 3 caps). Combined with the muscle soothing ingredients it also has a very relaxing aroma, adding to the overall spa relaxation feel, the scent is a cross between mint and herbal. I'm a sucker for any herbal scent bath time treats. "Energising and warming extracts of Birch, Juniper, Clove, Alpine Lavender, Wild Thyme and Blue Chamomile, combined with mineral-rich Sea Salt, ease tired muscles and recharge the body".

If like me you are suffering from aching muscles, or you over did it at the gym and need something to relieve the tension, then this super soak really does the trick. The deep-heat remedy has been fabulous, I have been using this for over a month (and just about to run out), it is the first this I reach for when I start to get aches. Like me you might not feel the full effects straight after your bath, but when you wake up the next day you will feel fabulous. It obviously gets right down into the muscles, working even after your bath has finished.

I recommend this highly, I ordered another bottle this week from time to spa, priced at  £32.70 which you might feel is a little pricey but i can't put a price on a product that can remove my back pain to be honest.

The one in which I just talk

Hi guys sorry for my lack of blog posts over the last 4 weeks, my health has been up and down recently and I've had a couple of procedures done. Luckily I finally know whats wrong which means I'm starting proper treatment, but I still have a few operations and other things ahead of me in the coming weeks. Even when I'm ill like this I do try to post at least once a week, so please stick with me for the next month or two. As you read this I most likely am still in hospital. These pictures where the last snaps I took and thought they would be a nice touch, as I don't think I really show my face that often on my blog. Silly me. Excuse my hair though it was still drying, but I really liked my brows and eye makeup that day.

I've also been asked to do some more fashion/style related posts and videos, I think it's about time I delve into that part of the blogging world. Though I'm not the most exciting dresser, I like to be comfy and simple, so don't expect anything crazy haha. It will be nice to share my tries and fails in attempting to follow the fashion pack! Plus it's about time I actually use my tri-pod, the poor thing just sits in the corner.

This week I am going to edit all the vlog and snippets that I have recorded on my Blackberry Playbook over the last month or so, I want to see whether the quality is any good and if it is then I shall pop it up on youtube. Which also means more quick videos from me, more daily vlogs etc, as I find myself so much more confident talking to that in public than I ever have with a camera (weird?).

See you soon!!

Darphin Youthful Radiance Camellia Mask

Darphin Youthful Radiance Camellia Mask £38.70

My skin has taken priority right now having suffered with painful breakouts and patchy dry areas, I've been on a mission to get my skin once again back to it's glowing self. Which does mean my blog will be leaning towards skincare and looking after my body a little more, as I have found some brilliant products and it's only right to share them with you. Darphin has some really fabulous products for giving your skin a delicious boost, it's a brand that I have been aware of for about 3 years but until about 6 weeks ago had never really investigated past a facial cleanser. Oh how that has changed now i currently have 4 Darphin products on my bathroom shelf, their youthful radiance camellia mask has been a gorgeous pick me up in terms of skincare - it gave my skin it's bounce back. The thick rich formula feels very soothing and cooling when applied, I use this all over my face and neck, leaving it on for about 15 minutes. My skin is left renewed, very soft and nourished and like I said, it has that certain something back, after 6 weeks of continuous use my skin is loving the results. Though it isn't just down to this one mask but I added this in first, it kicked the skin change into action. Using this twice a week has turned my skin around, quickly restoring moisture levels and smoothing the appearance of my skin. Darphin packed it with  flowery-fragrant formula with Camellia oil, Pomegranate extract and Hyaluronic Acid Microspheres with it's age-defying benefits. Overall your skin will be left smooth, glowing and plump, whether you are looking for a treatment to help with firmness or one to treat  fine lines or like me you need a thorough radiance boost then Darphin Youthful Radiance Camellia Mask is for you!

Style Me Celeb Cinched Waist Blazer

Have you heard of Style Me Celeb? They are a really great brand that brings you the clothes and trends that your favorite celebrities are wearing, their website is filled with beautiful dresses, skirts and shoes. When I was given the chance a few weeks ago to pick an item to review, I was stuck between a stunning red bandage dress and a bang on trend frilled blazer. In the end I chose this blazer, I liked the softness of the look whilst still having some structure through the shoulders and of course the peplum-esque detail at the bottom. It arrived packaged nicely in a peach box, a little battered but alright, with tissue paper making sure it stayed safe but I did rip it out of the box with excitement to try it on. As for the fit and quality, it fits fine a little tight on my shoulders but thanks to my dad I always have that issue, the quality it nice too - good thick material that feels very soft.

How would I wear it? I think this would look great paired with one of Style Me Celebs bandage dresses, or with skinny jeans and heels. The latter is how I have been wearing it, although I did pair it with Uggs and leggings to be admitted to hospital. I just love it.

I thought it would be good to include one Chloe from TOWIE wearing the blazer, so you can see how she wears it too (very similar to how I wore it last week!):

So if you are looking for some items to glam  up your wardrobe then you really do need to hop over to Style Me Celeb, I am still lusting after that red dress!

Two other items on my wish list have to be the 'Tamara' dress and the 'Chloe' red dress, I'm thinking either would be fabulous for my 21st birthday in four weeks. Overall I found the service really quick and helpful, they answered my questions fast and I love the blazer. The only down side to discovering Style Me Celeb is my wishlist of 4 dress eek!

Toni&Guy Cleanse Dry Shampoo

Most of us love a bit of dry shampoo to help reduce oil on our day two blow dry and it is a great product to help add some volume, though with so many brands and so many formulas it may not be so simple these days. For the last couple of months I have sworn by the Toni & Guy Cleanse Dry Shampoo, this is highly effective at mopping up the oil in my hair but the main reason I swear by it? I love how soft and hydrated my hair becomes after using this, with so many brands your hair can be left feeling extremely and straw like, Toni &  Guy have created a soft formula that means your hair will really look like it was freshly washed. The formula is also not coloured a powder-y white, meaning even the darkest of shades don't have to worry about the amount they use, or having to work very hard to get rid of the grey roots (we all know what brand is guilty of that!). I also prefer the packaging of this, instead of crazy bright prints, this is simple and mainly white. So if you are looking for a new dry shampoo and haven't tried this one then your next stop has to be the Boots hair section.
