Product ive rediscovered part 1

Bed Head Ego Boost
I bought this last year when i decided i wanted to try some other TIGI hair products, i was drawn to this because its a "Split End Mender" and at the time i was suffering from split ends badly.
- What the bottle says: Boost that ego and save your hair! Ego Boost Split End Mender & leave in Conditioner will seal, smooth and protect your hair. As a split end mender apply to ends. As leave conditioner, smooth over fly aways as needed.
- How i use it: After washed, blowdried, and put a little leave in conditoner in, i leave it to set and dry then i use a pump of this, rubbed into the ends of my hair with my fingers and done.
- Does it work?: Obviously the only way to really get rid of split ends is to have them chopped off! But for a temp fix, and to make your hair more nourished and sleek looking this is perfect. I like to think it is actually 'fixing' my split ends :)
- Will i rebuy this?: Deffo, it solves my split ends even if only till i wash my hair again. But it nourishes my ends so well. It is also fabby on my hair extensions to keep them soft and silky.
- Price: I think i paid just over £10 for this, but you can get it online for £5 if you shop well!
Have you used this? Whats your fave TIGI product?

TBS product love

When it comes to removing my eye makeup i can be soo lazy, many a night out have i come home with my false lashes, carbon e/s, liner galore and thought 'i really cba scrubbing away at this lot'. Not the best right? Well ive had this sitting in my skincare for ages but its never really been used, until the past few weeks that is.

What TBS say: "Float away the day with refreshing rosewater to gently cleanse and dissolve eye make-up. Also conditions lashes so they feel soft and silky."

How to use it: "Squeeze a small amount onto a cotton wool pad. Close one eye and place the pad over the eye area for a few seconds. Gently sweep in a downward motion to remove eye make-up from the lids and lashes. Avoid dragging the skin as this may result in the formation of lines. Repeat with a cotton wool pad on the other eye. Rinse with clean water."

This really does get rid of everything, i hold it over my eye for about 15 seconds, the place it under my lower lashes, then gently going downwards with the cotton pad it removes it all. Some eye makeup removers are oily, and you are left with that greasy feeling after but you dont get that with this. The other common thing i experience with eye makeup removers is that feeling or blurry vision if it gets in your eyes.. you know what i mean? again with this i havent had any of that! Very impressed.

The key ingrediant here is obviously the Camomile, a natural property that soothes skin.

The Body Shop are all about fair trade/community trade so it came as no surprise when i read this on their website, "Camomile oil from Norfolk it helps support small farmers. Norfolk Essential Oils (NEO), a cooperative of mainly small scale tenant farmers, provides some of the chamomile oil used in our treatments. Based in a rural area of Norfolk in England, the farmers were facing increasing difficulties earning a livelihood from traditional crops, until in 1997 they diversified into essential oil production. When you buy one of our camomile products, you help keep this going. " nice to know companies source within the UK for ingrediants too.

Overall: I love this, it has replaced my Clinique Take the Day Off E,L&L in my skin care routine, and when i run out i have no doubt that i will repurchase another bottle.

Have you tried this? What did you think? Or do you have a fave eye makeup remover?

HG concealer?

Nabbed the piccie from their website HERE

I have rather with the recent collection 2000 purchases, the most recent being the lasting perfection concealer. Since i bought it i havent reached for any other concealers, the odd day just using this and no foundation as it hides my imperfections so well.

I have it in shade 3 medium which i think is the perfect shade for me, however i might get light 2 for more of a illuminating concealer effect. For under a fiver this a fab concealer, medium to full coverage, lasts a working day (for me that half 8am -4pm) and blends into the skin nicely. I think it would feel quite heavy for those not used to a thick formulation but i dont personally think it feels heavy at all.

For me this is my HG concealer, unless i can find something better? I will continue to reach for this everyday as i have been.

Have you used this? What did you think?

St Moriz Mist UPDATE

CRAP PICTURE i know its on my webcam sorry guys! But you can tell im not orange.. massive plus. With the mousse i tend to have a slight orange tint which i hate but the spray seems more neutral, deffo not the same strong golden tone in it.
As for the application, it does say to spray and then if needed rub it in, personally i found i only needed to rub it in on my arms and lower legs, just spraying normally every where else was fine.
I did find a design fault, the spray does collect around the top and i did notice a few drops splash across me and my room, not good, my uni work got stained. :( all in search of a good tan i guess.
Overall im impressed, i still prefer my Xen Tan mousse but this is a good second for me.
Now what tanning product to try next? :)

new goodies

On a trip into town with my boyfriend, i dragged him to superdrug, i was on a mission to try out some 'own brand' products.
I had eyed up the 'Optimum - Eye roll-on' before and since it was only £2.46 i picked one up, whilst browsing the rest of the range i picked up their thermal polisher and collagen filler - the latter i was told is a fabby primer.
So i will be road testing these this week :)

nails nails nails!

Popped into town today as i need a couple of pieces, and as normal i was distracted in boots. This is the lovely colour i have on my nails as you can see.
New base coat, liking it so far, only used it today tho so we shall see if it helps my nail polish last longer.

Cuticle oil, i have horrible cuticles =/

The nail polishes were on 3 for 2 so i also picked up these spring/summer shades, very pleased with these buys.
Im on the look out for more pastel shades, what are your faves?

new foundation

So if you saw my little face haul i picked up a new foundation, Collection 2000's latest release, Lasting Perfection - their 'ultimate wear foundation'.

Benefits

- Up to 16 hour wear

- Oil free

- SPF 20

- Anti Transfer

- rrp £5,99 ish?

What do i think?

I LOVE this foundation, i picked this up after seeing a few good reviews but i wasnt expecting such positive results myself, but for less than £10 i wouldnt complain. Normally im a bit of a makeup snob when it comes to my foundation, so i had my reservations.

But i have to admit i havent loved a foundation this much since my SFF, i get a nice med-full coverage, that does hide all my skin sins and leaves me even after powder with a lovely subtle glow.

Would i rebuy?

Well, ive already picked up a second shade, so yes i defo would.

Have you tried this?

What did you think? Let me know...
